Isaac Schlagel - Director
Meet Isaac Schlagel our Director of the program. Coach Schlagel brings a strong background in leadership, player development, and performance strategy to the Bruins program.
A former student-athlete and experienced coach, he has led competitive training environments focused on skill development, team culture, and accountability.
Currently pursuing his MBA at Carolina University, Isaac combines his coaching experience with an analytical foundation in aerospace engineering and professional leadership experience with organizations including Boeing and Mazda Toyota Manufacturing to help athletes maximize their performance on and off the court.
Jordan Thompson
Graduate Assistant Coach
Jordan is a former college basketball player from California with four years of collegiate playing experience.
He is dedicated to helping athletes improve their skills, confidence, and basketball IQ.
He is very passionate about player development and committed to helping you reach the next level on and off the court.
Simon Brown
Student Assistant Coach
With a three strong years of playing at the collegiate level himself and a passion for developing youth athletes - Simon brings both high-level experience and a detail-oriented approach to every training session.
He is a 1,000 point high school scorer, 2x NACA All Tournament Team Selection, and a 2023 HSPN 8A Champion.
He played 3 years of college basketball, gaining valuable insight into what it takes to compete at the next level.
He is also the owner of Detail Driven Basketball, where for the past 3 summers he has specialized in helping players acquire skills, confidence, and basketball IQ!
In addition to training, he has coaching experience at multiple competitive levels, including serving as a coach for PSB 13U, Team Loaded 3SSB Gold Assistant, and obviously serving the Carolina University Program as well.
